New on Netflix

Kim’s Convenience, Fifty Shades, and More Are Leaving Netflix Soon

Netflix’s June 2026 removals honestly feel much bigger than usual. Every month the platform loses licensed content, but this time there are several genuinely popular movies, sitcoms, franchises, and even Netflix Originals disappearing throughout June.

Personally, the biggest surprise for me is seeing comfort-watch shows like Kim’s Convenience and Sex and the City leaving alongside massive movie franchises like Fifty Shades and Night at the Museum. There are also several animated titles, thrillers, indie dramas, and sports documentaries quietly disappearing before the end of the month.

As always, this is still considered a working list, so dates could shift depending on licensing deals. But for now, these are the biggest Netflix removals confirmed for June 2026.

Leaving June 1

Fifty Shades Trilogy

  • Fifty Shades of Grey
  • Fifty Shades Darker
  • Fifty Shades Freed

Netflix is removing the entire Fifty Shades trilogy at once, which honestly feels like one of the month’s biggest movie losses considering how consistently popular these films remain.

Night at the Museum Trilogy

  • Night at the Museum
  • Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian
  • Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb

All three Night at the Museum films are also leaving together, which is rough timing for anyone planning a nostalgic family-movie binge.

Other Major June 1 Movie Removals

  • The Lego Movie
  • Trolls
  • Casino
  • Mrs. Doubtfire
  • Ray

This is honestly a surprisingly stacked removal day because Netflix is losing family movies, comedy classics, and award-winning dramas all at once.

Leaving June 2

Kim’s Convenience (Seasons 1–5)

This is probably the removal that hurts the most personally.

Kim’s Convenience became one of Netflix’s biggest comfort-watch sitcoms over the years thanks to its lovable family dynamic, relatable humor, and easy bingeability. Losing all five seasons at once feels like a huge hit for fans of cozy comedy series.

Other June 2 Removals

  • Select ESPN 30 for 30 documentaries
  • The Host (2023)

Leaving June 3

Other Notable Removals

  • Kneecap
  • The Girl and the Gun
  • Honest Thief

Netflix is quietly losing several smaller thriller and crime titles during the first week of June too.

Leaving June 4

Brockmire (Seasons 1–4)

The sports-comedy drama starring Hank Azaria leaves Netflix on June 4.

Dispatches From Elsewhere

This underrated limited series is also exiting the platform.

Personally, Dispatches From Elsewhere always felt like one of Netflix’s hidden gems because of how strange and emotionally layered it was.

Leaving June 7

Blindspot (Seasons 1–5)

The NBC mystery-thriller leaves Netflix entirely on June 7.

For viewers who enjoy conspiracy-heavy network dramas, this is definitely one to prioritize before it disappears.

Other June 7 Removals

  • The Host (2013)
  • Shiva Baby
  • A Little Bit of Heaven

Honestly, Shiva Baby leaving is especially frustrating because it became a cult favorite among indie-film fans.

Netflix Originals Leaving in June 2026

One thing the article repeatedly highlights is how many Netflix Originals are also disappearing this month, which still feels strange considering these titles were once marketed as permanent exclusives.

Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts (June 26)

Netflix is removing all three seasons of the animated fantasy series.

This honestly feels like one of the biggest losses for animation fans because Kipo built a strong cult following thanks to its colorful visuals and emotional storytelling.

Degrassi: Next Class (June 30)

All four seasons of the teen-drama spinoff are leaving at the end of June.

Other Netflix Original Removals

  • The Perfect Mother
  • Stolen Away
  • Security
  • Silver Skates
  • The Rational Life
  • Justin Time Go!
  • Kill ‘Em All 2
  • Churchill’s Secret Agents: The New Recruits
  • The Forest

Personally, I still think it surprises many viewers when Netflix Originals vanish because most people assume they stay forever.

HBO and Licensed Shows Leaving

Sex and the City (Seasons 1–6)

One of HBO’s most iconic series officially leaves Netflix on June 30.

Honestly, this feels like another huge comfort-watch loss alongside Kim’s Convenience because Sex and the City still remains massively rewatchable years later.

Other Licensed TV Exits

  • TURN: Washington’s Spies
  • Aquarius
  • 61st Street
  • The Red Road
  • Moonhaven
  • Man to Man

Netflix is clearly rotating out several older licensed dramas throughout June.

Leaving Later in June

June 20

  • The Expendables franchise
  • The Creator

Netflix is losing all four Expendables movies together, along with sci-fi film The Creator.

June 21–25

  • It Ends With Us
  • The Iron Claw
  • The Wolf Hour

Several newer movie pickups are also disappearing surprisingly quickly.

Overall, June 2026 honestly feels like one of Netflix’s heavier removal months in a while. Between sitcoms, movie trilogies, HBO shows, Netflix Originals, and cult-favorite indie films, there are a lot of genuinely popular titles disappearing over the next few weeks.

If I had to prioritize a few before they leave, I’d probably say Kim’s Convenience, the Night at the Museum movies, Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, and Sex and the City are the biggest ones worth revisiting before they disappear.
